Well it has been lovely here, the sun has been out and I have sat in the garden crafting.
John and I went to the garden centre yesterday and bought some garden furniture and a swing. (Which John is now comatosed on). I have been sat out most of the day practising colouring with the ole Promarkers..I have to say that I'm quite pleased with the results.
My friend Sarah and I have swapped a few images between us and I have been using them before I start on all the new stamps that I got from the Dome.
Rocky's eye started to improve but today it seems to be back where we started again, so Monday its off back to the vets!
One of the girls at work bought me a small bottle of champers for my birthday ( back in April & yes I dont drink a lot), so I thought I'd pop the cork and have it with my tea tonight alfresco.

Verse Needed

Hello to all my friends and I hope this Sunday finds you well..
I have made this card very simply by edging the scallops with a white souflee pen, and then attaching some matching ribbon accross the centre. The main image has been coloured using Pro Markers..These have got to be my all time fave method of colouring now. I have just simply mounted it onto some gold mirri card. The heart is from the Patchwork Pals collection from Kanban...
Now for my little competition...
I would like a very sweet verse for my card!!! SIMPLES!!!!
Please leave your verse in a comment, and for the winner I have some Kameo Cards vellum sheets and backing papers up for grabs.( unfortunately I can't put a photo on as both camera, and phone camera are out of action at the mo)

Fantastic Day at the Dome
My Friend Sarah and I went to the Stamp Magic Show at the Dome in Doncaster today..We had a fab day out, only to get stuck for 45 mins in Asdas' car park..What had happened there was anyones guess but it sure was busy...Must have been all us crafters nipping in to get our tea lol.
I bought a mass of stamps, all of which I intend to use very shortly. Also got some guilding flakes, of which I have had a little play with tonight.
I have a friend who lives in USA and I have bought her some Pro Markers to try, so I hope she will like them.
Rocky's eye is still not right yet, so I think it will be another trip to the vets on Monday. Thank God that I have insurance for them both..The vets bills are horrendous.

Sweet Sugar Nellie

Here's a card for you to do... I have tried to keep the materials used to something that I know most of you crafters out there will have.
Cut a Paper Mania scalloped 12" lilac card stock in 2 and fold one piece in half. Using a souflee green pen, "stitch" around the scalloped edges. Put to one side to dry.
Stamp "Daisy" onto Bristol Board card. ( I used a Versafine ink pad) Emboss with clear powder. Colour the image with Promarkers. Cut to size and round corners with a punch. Edge with Promarker to match colour scheme. Then add a little glitter glue to her head dress.
Mat and layer scraps of matching papers onto the card base..(I have used a few of the odds and ends I have in my scrap paper box). With the souflee pen create stitching effect where papers meet.
Mount Daisy just off centre and add peel off greeting and lilac flowers. Using silcone glue, add the paper flowers diagonally of each other, and stick a diamonte in the centre of each.
Finally, add pink liquid pearl to the centres of the lilac flowers, and green liquid pearls to resemble stems.
I hope this is some help to both new and old crafters, and I hope to add more shortly.
Thanks for looking
Dee x
