A Long Time....

Hi to my friends out there...well its been a very long time since I have been about and I even thought that this blogg may have been closed.

I now find myself in a happier place..I have made new friends and am blessed with old ones who have stuck by me thru thick and thin...and there have been more thin times than I would have liked..Since John passed away, I have crashed the car, been burgled and suffered the pipes bursting during the cold weather snap...but all that is behind me now and 2011 is looking up!!

Crafting has given me a lot of pleasure in recent months, and I'm finding myself sitting in my little domain crafting more and more, so this year will be the year when I keep my promise to make more!!!

I made this card for a young lad who lives near me...he wanted a card for his girlfriend!! They are both only 12 and thought "How Cute"...I can remember my first love...I was 13..Long distance tho as he was from Bristol, but we have recently found each other on fb and are now long distance friends. (Something else to make me smile)

Febuary has bought a surprise, as I received a beautiful boquet of flowers, only thing is no one will admit to sending them..So I feel loved but dont know who by lol...

Well, that just about it for now...

Feeling Down......Again

It is now 2mths since my beloved husband passed away and it seems to be getting harder not easier.....I find myself talking to him, even tho I know realistically that he is not there....

Crafting does not seem to help at this present time either as I can not get inspiration from anything....

I am supposed to start back at work next week, and although I know it will be good for me to start having contact with the outside world, I am filled with a sense of dread....

I just love Karens Doodles

Well its been a very busy few days of card making for me, what with Valentines Day, and loads of birthday and other orders. I seem to have done little else but make cards...And I still havent finished!!!!!

I made this one for my hubby, again from Karens Doodles. ( see previous post for her link) I really adore her images, they are fabulous to colour and just cry out to be glittered lol.

I have a friend at work who is excellent at drawing, I am tring to get him to design some digi stamps for me to put on this blog, but he's taking a lot of persuading..If I can get enough comments on here to make him have a go, I shall do the first one as a freebie..

So come on Mark, get drawing for us crafters...We need your digi stamps!!!!!!

Valentines

I was asked to do a Valentines card for a lady to give to her partner..She said that she likes giraffes so I hope that this will fit the bill..

I have found that if you print your images onto Bristol Board and leave for a day, Promarkers etc will not bleed.

New Year

Well its been a while since I was on here and as a New Years resolution I will ensure that I update my blogg on a regular basis.

We had a very quite Christmas and New Year, but I was lucky enough to get lots of crafting goodies..So keep an eye out for some new cards.

Just before Christmas we found out that Rambo had got an enlarged heart and that what has been causing his fits, he's now on medication and doing fine.

Not too impressed with the weather at the mo, all the snow has turned to slush and has turned into a horrible black mess!!! Much prefered the lovely white crunchy stuff.

Will keep posting now and adding my creations..

Lovely Weekend

Well it has been lovely here, the sun has been out and I have sat in the garden crafting.

John and I went to the garden centre yesterday and bought some garden furniture and a swing. (Which John is now comatosed on). I have been sat out most of the day practising colouring with the ole Promarkers..I have to say that I'm quite pleased with the results.

My friend Sarah and I have swapped a few images between us and I have been using them before I start on all the new stamps that I got from the Dome.

Rocky's eye started to improve but today it seems to be back where we started again, so Monday its off back to the vets!

One of the girls at work bought me a small bottle of champers for my birthday ( back in April & yes I dont drink a lot), so I thought I'd pop the cork and have it with my tea tonight alfresco.
